Positions Available in Our Wholesale Yard:

  • Greenhouse Production Technician

    We are seeking a motivated Greenhouse Production Technician to join our fast-paced and hands-on greenhouse team in the Wholesale Division. This is an active, physical role for someone who enjoys working with plants, takes pride in their work, and brings a positive, can-do attitude every day.


    The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently, pays close attention to detail, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever help is needed. Prior greenhouse or plant experience is helpful but not required—we are happy to train the right person with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.


    This position requires weekend availability and the ability to work in a wide range of environmental conditions.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Job duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Filling pots and containers with soil
    • Planting hanging baskets and individual pots according to planting schedules
    • Learning and performing proper watering and plant care techniques
    • Pruning and maintaining plant material
    • Accurately tagging plants with correct pricing and information
    • Moving plants between greenhouses and growing areas
    • Assisting customers as needed in a friendly and professional manner
    • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s license
    • Weekend availability required (especially during peak seasons)
    • Ability and willingness to work in a wide range of environmental conditions (heat, humidity, outdoor elements)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Self-motivated “go-getter” with a positive attitude
    • Team player who can also work independently
    • Physically able to lift, bend, push, pull, and move repeatedly throughout the workday
    • Ability to handle fast-paced, hands-on work

  • Wholesale Nursery Attendant (Full-Time, Year-Round)

    We are seeking a motivated and dependable Wholesale Nursery Attendant to join our fast-paced wholesale nursery team. This position works hands-on with trees, shrubs, and a wide variety of plants while supporting landscape contractors and daily nursery operations.


    The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a leader’s mindset, strong attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. Prior experience working with plants or in a nursery setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn and grow with us.


    This is a full-time, year-round position, with some weekend work required during peak spring season and commercial snow removal is required to stay on through the winter hours. Compensation is based on experience.

    Position Summary

    The Wholesale Nursery Attendant supports daily operations of our wholesale nursery, assisting with plant care, order fulfillment, customer service, equipment operation, and general yard maintenance. This role works closely with the Wholesale Manager and landscape contractor customers to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a high standard of quality.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine plant maintenance, including watering, pruning, spacing, and general plant health monitoring
    • Assist with digging, handling, and staging trees and shrubs for customer orders
    • Load and unload plants, bulk materials, and supplies onto trucks and trailers
    • Support landscape contractors and wholesale customers with plant selection and order pickup
    • Assist with invoicing and order processing as needed
    • Perform general yard maintenance, including string trimming, mowing, and cleanup
    • Load and move bulk goods (soil, mulch, stone, etc.)
    • Assist the Wholesale Manager with daily operational and yard needs
    • Learn to safely operate equipment including truck and trailer, skid steer, tractor, and front-end loader

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Previous experience working with plants, nurseries, landscaping, or agriculture preferred (training available)
    • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
    • Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • Willingness and ability to learn equipment operation
    • Availability for some weekend work during peak spring season

    Compensation & Schedule

    • Full-time, year-round position
    • Some weekends required during peak season
    • Pay based on experience
