Wholesale Nursery Attendant (Full-Time, Year-Round)
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Wholesale Nursery Attendant to join our fast-paced wholesale nursery team. This position works hands-on with trees, shrubs, and a wide variety of plants while supporting landscape contractors and daily nursery operations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a leader’s mindset, strong attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. Prior experience working with plants or in a nursery setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who is eager to learn and grow with us.
This is a full-time, year-round position, with some weekend work required during peak spring season and commercial snow removal is required to stay on through the winter hours. Compensation is based on experience.

Position Summary:
The Wholesale Nursery Attendant supports daily operations of our wholesale nursery, assisting with plant care, order fulfillment, customer service, equipment operation, and general yard maintenance. This role works closely with the Wholesale Manager and landscape contractor customers to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine plant maintenance, including watering, pruning, spacing, and general plant health monitoring
- Assist with digging, handling, and staging trees and shrubs for customer orders
- Load and unload plants, bulk materials, and supplies onto trucks and trailers
- Support landscape contractors and wholesale customers with plant selection and order pickup
- Assist with invoicing and order processing as needed
- Perform general yard maintenance, including string trimming, mowing, and cleanup
- Load and move bulk goods (soil, mulch, stone, etc.)
- Assist the Wholesale Manager with daily operational and yard needs
- Learn to safely operate equipment including truck and trailer, skid steer, tractor, and front-end loader
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience working with plants, nurseries, landscaping, or agriculture preferred (training available)
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness and ability to learn equipment operation
- Availability for some weekend work during peak spring season

Seasonal Delivery Driver / Nursery Attendant
We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Seasonal Delivery Driver / Nursery Attendant to join our team. This role is ideal for a retired construction professional or someone with a similar background looking for a steady, hands-on, outdoor position.
You’ll be responsible for delivering mulch, soil, and trees to customers using a one-ton dump body truck with a trailer. When deliveries are complete, you’ll assist with general nursery duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a one-ton dump body truck with trailer
- Safely back loaded trailers into tight or residential areas
- Load and unload mulch, soil, trees, and shrubs
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Assist with nursery tasks when not delivering
- Perform basic vehicle checks (oil, tires, etc.)
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 1 year experience driving a one-ton truck with trailer
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
- Experience with automatic and manual transmissions
- Strong driving, backing, and time-management skills
- Light mechanical knowledge a plus

Positions Available in Our Retail Store:

Cashier/Customer Service
We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Cashier to join our team of plant enthusiasts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, positive environment, loves plants, and enjoys helping customers find the right products for their needs.
You’ll be responsible for assisting customers at checkout, processing transactions, and supporting the team with merchandising and product organization throughout the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service at checkout
- Assist customers with plant selections and basic plant care guidance
- Merchandise products and assist with displaying new inventory
- Stock and organize plants and retail products
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout and retail area
- Assist customers and team members as needed throughout the nursery
Qualifications & Skills:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Interest in plants and willingness to learn about plant care
- Ability to count money and process transactions accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull products as needed
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Compensation & Schedule:
- $15.50 – $17.00 per hour
- Full-time (35–40 hours per week)

Greenhouse/Nursery Customer Service
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Greenhouse/Nursery Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, loves plants and gardening, and enjoys helping customers find the right products for their garden and landscape needs.
You’ll be responsible for assisting customers with plant selections, maintaining plant inventory, and supporting daily operations throughout the greenhouse and nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting plant materials that best fit their gardening needs
- Provide helpful guidance on plant care and gardening basics
- Water, maintain, and care for plant inventory
- Repot plants and maintain overall plant health and presentation
- Merchandise, organize, and restock plant displays
- Unload and stock incoming plant shipments
- Maintain and clean assigned greenhouse or nursery departments
- Assist other departments as needed
- Help keep the nursery organized, clean, and welcoming for customers
Qualifications & Skills:
- Friendly, helpful personality with strong customer service skills
- Interest in plants, gardening, or horticulture
- Ability to work outdoors and in greenhouse environments
- Ability to lift and move plants and supplies as needed
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Previous nursery, gardening, or plant knowledge preferred but not required
